Switch Sticks award winning hiking poles are taking Australia by storm. We are delighted to offer a selection of funky hiking poles for immediate delivery. New Bubbles design is now available as well as a range of designs from Australian designer Pepa Martin and Australian Artist Sandi Rigby.
• Switch Sticks hiking poles are sufficiently small to fit in a regular suitcase – something most hiking poles don’t do (most hiking poles are 2 or 3 section, Switch Sticks are 4 section telescopic)
• Luxurious neoprene straps
• Concave tungsten carbide tip under the rubber tip – for grip in rocks/rough terrain (the rubber foot is used on level ground / pavement).
• Nordic feet can be fitted– these are curved in shape and are used for Nordic walking
• Suspension – the poles have an integrated spring to provide some flex – which is good for muscles and joints.
• Secure screw on basket to stop someone losing their footing and the pole disappearing down a hole! The little dimple in the side of the basket is for
clipping a pair of poles together when storing or clipping to a back-pack
